Who Are We

MESA works closely with industry partners and the University of California, California State University, the California Community Colleges, the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities and the State Department of Education Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement is an academic enrichment program that serves educationally disadvantaged students. MESA is one of the country's oldest and most successful programs that nurtures. and unleashes student performance in math, science and engineering. MESA is nationally recognized for its innovative academic development program. The MESA Schools Program was established in 1970 at a high school in Oakland, California and has grown to serve over 350 schools statewide MESA offers a variety of curricular and extracurricular services that prepares students to attend four-year institutions and pursue degrees in math, science, engineering, and computer science.

Imperial Valley MESA

Imperial Valley MESA was established in September of 2003, with a total of 6 schools. Today, we service over 20 schools with a student population of almost 1,000 students in the program. The MESA Program guides many students in becoming our future STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Professionals.
